View Full Version : Ironhead Motor Wanted!!!! D_Bone 02-17-2005, 01:37 PM I Want to finish this Scoot soon. email me.. FatBoyRider 02-17-2005, 04:00 PM If I were you I would call around to my local Indy's. I'm sure someone can get a line on an Ironhead for you....good luck FBR  D_Bone 02-17-2005, 06:59 PM Yea I've done that. I found a set of cases that I need, but was on another forum. most people I talk to tell me to just buy a real harley. Can anyone explain to me why guys say a Sportster is a chick bike or not a real harley? I mean WTF!!!! Only difference I see is price. Considering the sportster has been around longer than their rubber mounted RUB/YUB machines. FatBoyRider 02-18-2005, 01:27 PM D Bone.....try this link http://groups.msn.com/HarleyTechTalk/ironhead.msnw You might have better luck there....and NO a Sporty is not a girls bike. A sporty will kick a Road King, or FatBoy's ass in the twisty's..... :D FBR  Natural 02-19-2005, 08:15 AM So will a Super Glide and the first words outta somebodys mouth is... "is it a Sportster"? Why I got ridda th SG football over the carb. Let em wonder! Mongo 02-19-2005, 04:16 PM Anybody that puts any other biker or bike down is an asshat in my book. You got two wheels (sometimes three)....you're a biker. I can honestly say I think that's the consensus on this site anyway. HeavyDuty 02-21-2005, 06:31 AM As long as your on 2 wheels (or 3) and enjoy the open road. Who cares what your riding. Reantwist 11-04-2009, 10:37 PM Id like to borrow or purchase a set of OEM Lt1 motor mounts so I can install them and see if the shaking goes away. Theres no way Im paying GM prices for new ones until I am sure it will fix the issue. |
