I recently replaced the brake pads on my F3 and I've run into a small problem that's got me stumped. I've built up enough pressure in the lines for the pads to grab the rotor, but they don't grab until I pull the lever almost all the way back. How do I adjust it so that the brakes start to be effective when I only pull the lever a little bit?

Sounds like you might have air in the line. Try tapping on the brake lines to try and release the air to move up the line and squeezing the brake lever, with the resovour cover off.

When you changed the break pads did you push the brake pistons back using your old pads. You might have some grit caught there causing them to freeze up. Or you might have air caught in your lines but i dought that as that only happens when you change the brake fluid. Its more than likely the brake pistons. Remove your pads and push the pistons back and clean them with a tooth brush (DRY). Replace the pads and keep pulling the lever till the pads bite. Your pads will need time to adjust and will eventually bite proper usually after a mile or two.
