A general question to anyone with experience:

I want to put heated grips on my 2000 Marauder. It has 1" bars and is pretty much stock. I have found grips at CustomHeat.com and HotGrips.com, both reasonably priced and seemingly adequate. But I have yet to meet a single person who has a history of installing these type of grips on a bike like mine.

Please respond if you have any specific information.
