Just got back from following the the Tour de France and watching Lance kick some booty. Me and two buds (one my ex racing teamate) rented a camping car. What a SWEET trip. The country is just SO beautiful. The peeps were nice, the women were tres gorgeous and the bicycling was painful (I rode up three "beyond-category" climbs including Alpe d'Huez twice). I can't WAIT to go back, rent a motorcycle and ride the roads. I think I saw one pothole the whole time I was there.

yes it was my first time in France. Honestly I wasn't prepared for how beautiful France is. I mean, I've seen pics of the Loire (sp?) Valley, but not too many of the Pyranees, the Alps and the Mediterranean coast (the areas we were in). The pics i took just don't do it justice either. It's like once you throw a frame around it, the feeling and the majesty of it is gone. The real pics are in my mind and my heart... a small piece of which I left behind me there. Can't wait to go back.

We sure are proud of him here in Texas.....hell he could be the Governor if he ever decided to run... ;)
