Do you purchase your motorcycle products on Ebay?
 

Hi Everyone!

Just doing a little research here... I was just wondering how many people use or would consider using ebay for their motorcycle products? Also if you do use it, what kind of stuff do you purchase?

The reason for this being is that i've started up my own Ebay shop and don't really have a clue what I should sell! I only have a few items on it just now including helmets, tax disc holder bike covers etc. I'm hoping to put some of my clothing range on it as well.

Please have a look and tell me what you think or if you have any ideas as to what would be most likely to sell - Thank you in advance!!

I do check E-Bay for parts. I have become very leary about buying parts from ebay, too many scammers nowadays

I'm with Greg, I do check ebay a lot, but I rarely purchase, I've been burned a few times. The money saved is not worth it if you get burned just once. I trust most of my purchases to my local guy who I know and trust. His prices may seem higher, but I'm also buying service, and his friendly smiling face (that I can get into if I ever feel like he's ripping me off) which he hasn't so far, and don't believe he ever will.
Anyway, buyer beware..........especially on ebay!

Good luck Scott, just try to build yourself a customer base. Do it right, and people will keep coming back.

Not really, only when I can't find any parts at the store. I have a hard time trusting even popular online sites. But I've tried once though.

Too many scammers and liars on ebay for me sorry. I just had a buddy get ripped for a few grand by a scammer that posed as the owner of an item he lost a bid on...so much theft on the net lately it's lame

I used to, but I find craigslist to be better. I get to always deal with people, instead of companies. Of course there are never any guarantees - for anything - but I have been lucky so far and not had any problems. Good luck with your business!!

I too am operating a business on ebay. I love ebay and have had no bad experiences. I look at the feedback and if it's below 98% I don't bother. That's worked for me. I probably wouldn't buy used parts but new ones certainly.

I have an Ebay store with 100% good feedback.
ya, there are alot of cheap-o's out there,
I am hoping I don't get jipped because I just bought a new computer from there.
