McDermott and Finnegan
 

McDermott and his mate Finnegan were sitting in a pub throwin' back some stouts while McDermot lamented, "Finnegan, Oye, ye know thet I bilt that church thet ye see there with me own hands and it took me the best part of seven yars ta bild it. Ye would think thet they would call me McDermott the charch bilder, but they doon't"

"Ye know, Finnegan, thet I bilt thet bridge thet ye see thar each day on yer way in to this pub with me own hands and thet it took me most part of 8 years ta bild it with me own hands and ye know thet is true. Ye would think thet they would call me McDermott the bridge bilder bet they doon't!"

"And, Finnegan, ye know thet fine new coon daminiem thet ye yerself does live in thar. Finnegan ye know yerslf thet I bilt thet coon daminiem with meoon hands and ye would think thet they would call me McDermott the bilder of coon daminiems, bet they doon't!"
