My turn to BITCH !!!

What the hell is up with the gas prices ??? down here in Texas around the H-town to Beaumont area the prices have been going up every other day. Gas prices have gone up about 30-35 cents a gallon over the past month.
The other night I saw a report on CNN that said the reason for the increases was due to the "unrest" in the middle east that "POSSIBLY" might slow production there. What kind of lame ass excuse is that ??? If production hasn't been slowed then why the higher prices ? I don't know about everyone else but I'm tired of the big oil companys raping the American public. And you can bet your ass it's just a reason to jack up the prices because summer is just around the corner , and they know everyone uses more gas then.

okay I feel better now :D

Hey FatBoyRider, I think you still pay a lot less for gas than we do. In this area it is 79.9p a litre, say £4.00 a gallon. I think that's over $5.00. Almost all of that is tax, and according to the radio today we can expect the price to go up by 5p a lire in the next week or so. The price is justified as an anti pollution measure. Bikes are much more fuel efficient than cars and do less damage to the environment, so surely we should get a discount.

We've become SHEEP

I haven't honed off the edges from this comment I am about to make so forgive please if it comes out a little ruff. The people of Poland many years ago stood up to that soviet beast and told it what was happening. They didn't back down when it started flexing it's biceps and when all was/is said and done those people taught the WHOLE damn world a lesson that we have yet to acknowledge in-mass. We CAN make the right things happen but it takes ALL of us to do it. We have to be sheep TOGETHER. Our governing bodies and the corporate conglomerates have all become so big that they can by and large operate as they will and they can do so at our expense. The final word IS and will be ours. What that word IS is what we must choose-do we take it and continue to or do we ALL stomp down our "foots" and say,"NOPE", it is up to us. It's a matter of what we decide. The choice IS ours. PLEASE don't leave me out if you decide-people- to stomp your feet 'cuz I am READY to stomp my feet!-Dan Doyle

I paid around $2 per gal in Texas. Yow. One place in Arizona was over $2 bucks and I was running out of gas and it cost me over $10.00 bucks to fill the tank with high octain gas, next stop was 40 miles away. Shoot-me don't kill me with killer gas prices. Dems in the White House blocked the oil drilling bill for Alaska. Tree huggers be advised, this is going to bring down America if you don't get your heads out of your collective Enviromental Ass. The gas suppliers are gouging us on top and blaming the Middle East crude suppliers.

Don't get me started.

Feel like I'm in church

when I hear people take a stand. I LOVE to hear rebellion in the tones when rebellion is the action that is called for. We have that right here. That's why we wore the uniform. That's why we were willing to die. New Hampshire has a beautiful thing on their license plates, "Live Free Or Die". That is the beauty. It is innate to our constitution that we have not only the RIGHT to rebel but we are obligated to do so in the face of ANY injustice. At times I fear that we are losing sight of that. 'Scuse, please. I sometimes get a little motored up. ITW:mad: :D

I don't want to get everybody mad here, but if you want to rebell against the gas companies and the high price of gas, you need EVERYBODY to get involved. There has been so many letters, e-mails and flyers past around to have people boycott gas companies and the rich pea-brains continue to fill up their gas hog SUV's. They can afford it. I have a conversion van that sits in the driveway when it's riding season because I can't afford to put gas in it all year long. However, if we can get everybody involved, count me in!
