Got my manual , so - - - -
Fork seals, and turn signals,
Never worked on a Harley, so got my fingers X,
later info on how it went , later .........

and heres how it went,

first time working on forks,
and someone messed up the bottom allen screw for attaching to the fork inards, so had to remove the whole dang fork and tube,
put it on the bench to use lots force and a standard allen wrench
instead of the normal 8 millimeter wrench ,
but did manage to get it out ok.
removed old seal, cleaned all out old ugly oil .
re-assembled,
did other fork , lots easier second time ,
all assembled and oil added,
test road,
Whoo Hoo!!! no leaks, rides much better with proper amount fork oil,
Oh yea, forgot to mention, one of the drain screws stripped out while removing and had to over size and retap with a larger drain screw,

The turn signals never happend, gotta get some special bolts,
for mounting rear signals,

But I did manage to remove the right tank and find all the wiring ,( labeled the wires) so next time that part is already done,

Glad I got a manual with all the wiring diagrams,,,,,,

If you are putting on after market signals you may have to purchase a Turn Signal Load Equalizer to get them to flash and function properly. I made the $100 mistake of buying a new control module before I realized that I needed the load equalizer. You can pick one up through J&P Cycles for about $25. The part number is 272236. They have other part numbers, but this one is the cheap no thrills model.
