How to Clean out Your PM Box!

You can have a maximum of twenty messages in your PM Box. Any more than this, then nobody wil be able to send you PM's.

Keep in mind the following things:
1.) When you send a private message, there is a little check box at the bottom that says "Save a copy." If you do not uncheck this box, then it will count as 1 out of your 20 messages you can have stored. You can do two things to fix this. One, uncheck the "save a copy" box as soon as you are about to send a message. Two, click on the "user cp" button at the top of the page. Go to the "private messaging" link. Click on that link, and to the right you will see a drop down list that says "Jump to folder." Click on the little arrow and choose "sent items." There you will see all the messages that you choose to save. You can check them and delete them.

2.) Click on the "user cp" button at the top of the page. Go to the "private messaging" link. Click on that link, and to the left you will see a drop down list that says "Show Messages From." Click on the little arrow and choose "the beginning." There you will see all the messages that you did not delete (if any) since you were a member. You can check them and delete them.

3.) When you send a private message, there is a little check box at the bottom that says "Request Read Recept." This feature allows you to track your message and see if the person you are Pm-ing has received your message. If you do not uncheck this box, then it will count towards your 20 maximum messages. You can do two things to fix this. One, uncheck the "request read receipt" box as soon as you are about to send a message. Two, click on the "user cp" button at the top of the page. Go to the "private messaging" link. Click on that link, and to the right you will see a drop down list that says "Jump to folder." Click on the little arrow and choose "message tracking." There you will see all the messages that you chose to track. You can check them and delete them.

A good check to see if your PM box is clear is to do this:
Go to the main page of the board. Scroll to the bottom. There you will see the Private Message Center. Hit refresh on your browser. It will then tell you how many messages are in your PM box. If there are still messages in there, then repeat steps 1,2, and 3!

Have fun.
