Default Hi, motorcycle designer here.

Hey guys.

I like the site. I am a motorcycle designer working for a small firm. There are lots of good incites here,so I thought I'd try to get some feedback from you guys.

Our company recently started selling after market parts for r1200 BMW's, (machineartmoto.com) but we are also looking for feedback on current problems that riders have with the stock bikes-from the way it looks, to the way it feels. I am open to comments.

Thanks so much.

Hey Dan,
welcome to the site. I'm a motorcycle painter, and I love the fact that bikes only come in 2 or 3 available colors. I paint brand new bikes all the time because there is no choice in color. Other than that, I ride a Harley, I'm from old school HD, where you wrench an hour to ride 30 minutes, so my '97 Fatboy is a treat.............it never breaks down! Good for HD

Thanks!

I assume that you do custom paint jobs? Have you ever painted and r1200's? I would be interested in seeing your work. I always like to see how people have customized their bikes to make them their own.

yes I do custom paint, I haven't painted any beemers yet, probably because Augusta doesn't have a BMW dealer. We have to go to Atlanta or Greenville S.C. for BMW stuff. If they had one here I'm sure it would do great. BMW's are great bikes, but who wants to have to ride it 2 to 3 hours just to get it serviced. If you want to see my work, its at www.beyondthepaintinc.com
