From a husband, a dad, a vet
Hi all,
I own an old bike, a 1979 650 LTD Kawasaki, pretty stock, still strong, nice thing about it is the clear title. I live in central Texas, have a wonderful wife, a son in college, and we are in the process of adopting four wonderful kids, ages 5, 9, 11, 12. I am a graduate of the school of hard knocks, so if I sometime seem like a pain in the a** know it all, it is because I have been there, done that. I am smart enough to know that I don't know everything, am confused about most things, and most days the voices in my head won't even to talk to me. |
Ride that LTD
Sometimes when we talk to ourselves we are the only ones making sence. Other times it's not the angle on our shoulder talking.

Subsailor, welcome. First off, thank you for your service to our country. Secondly, good for your adopting those kids...lots out there that need good homes. Finally, a long ride on that LTD should make it all better. See you around.

You to Mike. Went to ride the Dyna last night and ran into some electrical gremlins. I was blessed to have it happen 1/4 mile from home. Lights went down backfires and engine misses. Pulled the seat and it's the accessory wire. I'm working right now (can't you tell) but will find a fix when I get a chance.
