1982 Honda CB 750 project...

Morning all. I am New to the forum and wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Ryan and im from Buffalo, NY. I recently aquired a 1982 Honda CB750 project abandoned by a co worker of mine, for free, as his wife was nagging him to get it out of the garage. It has been sitting a few years but was a runner. From what im told either the head was off or the valve cover was off because the cam chain has some surface corrosion on it. I had already planned on tearing it all down and having a machine shop clean it up. I have not yet made any calls for estimates and was hoping someone here had an idea of how much it may cost. The bike is missing very little and im hoping to have her rebuilt and painted all nice by next spring.

This is my first Honda CB750. Is there anything i should keep an eye out for on these bikes? As for parts what years are interchangable?

Im exited to get this project going. I sold my Ninja 500 a couple years ago attached, and have been going through motorcycle withdrawel ever since.

Thanks for reading. I hope to get some informative comments.
