1969 CL 350 Carb Parts

New to the forum. I am restoring a 69 CL 350. Initial observation shows both carb diaphrams damaged. Also one set of carb floats is collapsed. What would cause this? Is this critical?
One of the choke plate's "flipper" has a broken spring. Is this critical? Where can I find a parts schematic/diagram and parts? Are Chilton service manuals worth the investment? Is there another forum that is suited for restoration project questions? I am sure this project will generate more in the future.

Well....the carb parts are 35 years old...lol...I would expect deterioration after that long.

Check with your local Honda dealer if you haven't already. They may be able to sell you all the carb parts you need. If they no longer carry them, they may at least be able to turn you on to someone that does.

Here's a place in Ohio that specializes in vintage 1959-1969 Honda parts... www.ohiocycle.com

Good luck, and welcome to our forums....keep us updated on your restoration.

I have a 72 CB 350 that is a restoration project, and I find the manuals very helpful. I would recommend the manual. Many times you can find them on Ebay for cheap too. Check there. Post some pics if you would, I'd like to see the bike.
