74 honda 750 4 wiring question

Hi everyone newbie here and wanted to ask a question about wiring some new siganl and tail/brake light. Well My new bullet signal lights are self grounding and have 1 + wire . My front singals on my 750 has 2+ which one to I connect to.When i connect to the one nothing happens. When I connect to the other and turn the signal on I get a faint like horn sound and the light blinks once and they stays fairy fairy dim. My headlight now wont come on and the tail light won't either but the brake light comes on. Could someone shed some light for me thanks in adavance.

wiring problem

The front directionals should have two wires, one is for the directional and the other is a running light. If you don't have the running lights hooked up properly you will not have either head light or tail light as you are experiencing. That horn like sound is your directional allarm which is located on your lower trippletree, it is to let you know that your directional is still on after you have made your turn which will hopefully remind you to turn it off, and apropriately it is a somewhat annoying sound.
