Big and Tall motorcycle

I am trying to find an answer to the following question that was posed to me:

Being 6' 7" tall and about 290 lbs., I can't seem to find a motorcycle that is comfortable. Anybody have any ideas of models that might fit a larger person. Or a frame that I can build my own cycle. It will be mainly for street riding. but a dual purpose bike would be allright too.
Is there a Harley out there for him - possibly adjusting the controls?

Go to a dealer and ride them all. See which one fits best is my advice. From there, call J&P Cycles and see if they have a frame that has enough rake and stretch to fit a man that large. Maybe he would be best to build his own. Call Jesse James, he built that one for Shaq. I'm sure he can help him out too!! LOL! That might be a tad more than he is looking to spend though.

There are quite a few custom frames that suit taller people just fine. It's gonna add $$ to the purchase though. Is that something that would be acceptable?

BMW GS1150? They look really jacked up, and typically Beemers are made for big german people.

I think I am going to start calling on the custom frames MFG's for their advice. I went to my local H-D dealer today and got some info on foot controller extenders, as well. Thanks for the advice. I think he is going to go custom.

Any luck MotoSearch? Saw a frame advertised called the Longbow especially for long tall riders. It's stretched 4" to the rear

I too am 6' 7" 350lbs and had to go custom. I found a PROStreet Frameworks Cobra and had the backbone stretched an additional 7" plus put on extended forward controls. http://www.pro-streetframeworks.com.
Chopper Guys has a Tall guys frame. http://www.chopperguys.com/
