CB 350 tire choice

I have a mint CB 350 that is titled a 1971, although I believe it is actually an early 1972. It has 5900 miles on it, and the original tires have some tread, but I don't want to risk another summer on them. Does anyone know of a new tire that would look similar? Thanks.

Welcome

Lewi, welcome to "BikerForums"

If I were you I would get the tire size off of the sidewall of both tires (as they may be different) and call your local Honda dealer. The parts guys (if their worth a damn) should be able to help you out. They should have parts references for all Honda's even a 71 or 72 model, they may have to cross match your tires to a newer size but even if a tire is slightly taller/shorter , or wider/thinner it usually will not affect anything. Biggest concern is usually going wider as it may rub against a swingarm, fender, or chain/belt guard.

good luck, let us know what you figure out.

I believe Avon makes some vintage looking tires in the old sizes. I used to use them on my early seventies bone-stock Sportster to keep the vintage look of the bike. I bought them at an aftermarket bike shop.
