Heritage Springer

I'm looking for a little help with my '03 Springer. I just installed the Power Commander III and applied a map based on a similar setup. However, after reading the comments on the maps supplied with the CD, I came across a remark about the Springer's ECM being different than the other softtails.

I don't suppose anyone has a map I could start with, that match the stock ECM, Screaming Eagle air kit and Samson Thunder (no baffles) slip-on mufflers.

I've currently loaded the map for the first two items and the Vance & Hines Bigshots without baffles.

Any suggestions, comments, help would be greatly appreciated.

Nice bike. I got a 01 H.S. with a D.F.O. stage 1, and Sampson true dual fishtails. Anyway never had heard the the ECM was different. You might check out at the HeritageSpringer.com web site.Good luck...........

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll get this thing growling efficiently soon enough.

Okay, just to clarify things. I talked with one of the techs at the dealership where I get my Springer serviced, and he said that the ECM is exactly the same for all softtail models.

The only difference being the mapping because of the extra weight of the Heritage Springer compared to the other models.

So, now where to start with the mapping? LOL

maps.com ?

I'm so funny.

You know, great minds think alike. I looked there first, but the search engine couldn't find any matches for "Heritage Springer". ;-)

ROFLMAO!

try heritagespringer.com without the space??????

LOL. I guess the sarcasm was lost in the post. Sorry about that. I was extending the joke about maps.com, saying the search there resulted in no hits when I looked for "heritage springer".

I'll try to add more 'smiles' to make sure my wry sense of humor is portrayed properly. ;)

No worries.
