my bf just ordered a blitz nur spec for his mr2 (i know its not a bike - but i thought you might be able to help me out) from MVP MOTORSPORTS. it was delivered, but ...
#1 ... a day later than promised - which isnt that bad and ... #2 ... to the wrong adress IN A DIFFERENT STATE!! i just thought i should warn you guys in case you ever decide to order from them. btw - anybody have this ever happen and know what i might be able to do to fix it. my bf either wants his money back or the exhaust. help ... anyone ... |
Tell your 'didon' (that still cracks me up) to give 'em hell. First off, give them a call and explain what happened, and what you believe would make the situation right...then see what they can do. If he doesn't get anywhere with the people on the phone (sometimes they are just customer service...looking to answers questions) then I would say write a very detailed letter to their customer service department and demand things be made right.
At the very least, I would return the product if nothing comes out of the above....cause ya don't need to be doing business with companies like that. |
Originally posted by Mongo Tell your 'didon' (that still cracks me up) to give 'em hell. anyway - yeah we did call. and they said that theyd call back and they didnt. my bf is gonna call them tomorrow morning. hopefully they'll do something then. oh another thing mongo ... what did you mean return the product - he never got it remember? |
yeah, sorry 'bout that mistake. It is going on 2am...and I've spent all day at the hospital.
How did he pay for the said item? If it's a credit card, get them involved....they can be a great ally with things like this. He definitely has to stay on their asses. Call them tomorrow, and call them as many times as you have to. Call them everyday, at the same time....take names, numbers, position titles...hell get some birthdates of people if you are inclined. My point is this, keep a well documented account of what has happend and what he is doing to resolve this. At worst, if they don't help take it to the Better Business Bureau and they'll open up a case for you, and they usually come through with results. |
I would agree with Mongo on this one. If he purchased with a credit card, give them a call. They charged you and you don't have any product. That should be grounds enough for a credit. The CC company can refuse to pay them.
At this point I would bypass customer servivce and ask for a top management person. Get their attention. Might help out. Good luck PHAT-BOY |
