Road glide vs. Electra glide

Just wondering how these compare.

Mostly I'm concerned with road handling and cruising.

I believe one of the main differences is the fairing, being attached to the
frame on the RG and attched to the forks on the EG.

Wondering if anyone has had, or at least drove both and could give a
comparison. Good points, bad points.

Just my .02 cents, but the road glide has got to be without a doubt, the ugliest bike HD has ever produced. I've tried to like it, but no matter how hard I try, that fairing just kills it for me. My buddy has an electraglide, and having rode that, there is not any handling differance compared to my Road King with the windshield installed.

I guess the part I wanted to key in on was the fairing.

And if there was any noticable difference in the two, frame mount vs. fork mount.

I'm sure the difference if any would be small, but for long rides it could be noticable.

I like the fact that my fairing goes the direction I'm going and not the way I'd go if I crashed.

I also like the way the EG looks over the RG.

:D

I dunno about the different fairing nounts, but the street glide looks REALLY nice!!!

I have an Electra Glide and I like the fact that my headlight turns in the direction that I am going.
