Spark Plug question
I was wondering what type of Spark Plug's are the best. I have tried several different kinds in the past , and really couldn't tell the difference. Does anyone have any real knowledge , experience , or data to help me find out the best "brand" to run in my scooter. Thanks for any help.

I've been riding Harleys for 32 years now and have had good luck with Champion plugs. All my bikes have been mostly stock motors and I have never really done any "hotrodding"(for the most part). Champions have been very dependable for me for stock applications. I have heard a lot of people say your wasting your money on plugs like the Splitfires and the like. I tried Accels once and had troble with them.

Champion or Autolite. All the riding that I have done, and the lousy conditions that I did it in, I'll tell you that you are just pissing money away buying those "Fancy" plugs. The old standby's are still the best.

FBR, I agree with the others. In my superglide I changed plugs a lot, am now a professional at changing these. lol. I had luck with the Champions. The bike shops here recommend Champion or Autolite.

I'm a spark plug wizard also, must be something with the hogs. Whichever you choose or work best with your bike....remember that you can learn a lot from taking a look at your spark plugs every once in a while. I have a nice picture sheet which can diagnose a lot of probs just by the look of the plugs. If you guys want, I'll scan it and post it here. Let me know.

Post em if you got em !

spark plug
The best bang for the buck are the NGK sparkplugs, thats what we all use around these parts, its a good performance plug for the 2 or 3 dollars they cost.

Big fan of NGK's

That's good stuff Jam's....thanks.

that's funny, most people say they like champions yet my old Harleys had always eatin them for lunch. i started using NGK's 15 years ago and i'll never use anything else now in any bike or car i own.
