Thunderheader"?"

Last winter I installed a 250 on my dyna. This has created several obstacles, the most recent one being exhaust. I was running bub bag dogs with no problems. However I am attempting to install a thunderheader and Im having clearance issuses with the swingarm. My question is will putting a slight offset in the thunderheader have a major affect on its performance? Any response to this will be appreciated. Thanks

If you're not going to bend the pipe, then maybe you can add a spacer to kick it further from the frame! Or do both. Keep us up to date with some current pictures of your awesome build!

rebuild

I enlisted the help of a friend of mine and we cut the pipe in two places and used a piece of 1 3/4" exhaust pipe from my local auto parts store to construct two "spacers". These were then welded into place, extending and angling the rear pipe so it could be bolted in place. The stock thunderheader bracket had to be heated and bent into place as well.
