Whats the bike of choice here?

just wondering what everyone riders. I have a harley and a Honda.

BeyondThePaintInc 03-28-2007 09:23 AM

I ride a '97 Fat Boy, but I like all kinds of bikes. If I could I would also have a CBR1000, and a Ducati or two (love the dry clutch)

arthur 03-28-2007 06:47 PM

I ride a sportster. Been loving Harleys since I was a kid, but am drawn to just about any Vtwin.

BikeLass 03-30-2007 12:59 AM

bmw k75 (if she makes it out of current post-accident condition)

if not would like another. have also owned or ridden yamaha xt 250, kawasaki ltd couple sizes, honda something. chronic back injuries limit riding now to lean-slightly-forward-only models.

IntruderGreg 04-09-2007 08:43 PM

I've got a Suzuki Intruder.

Murph 04-10-2007 09:14 PM

What's the bike of choice here?

 I mostly ride my 1979 Honda CM400A. I love these CM400's.My first bike was an 81 CM400T. Will be picking up my 80 CM400E soon.
Many that I have talked to say that they are too small. Not enough Umpff. But they work for me and since I am a newbie, I don't need or want to fly.
And since some parts are no longer available, I have parts bikes too.
I would probably have been better off just getting a newer Rebel, but I like these bikes. I love the style. And I have picked up some pretty good deals so.. :D
If I need to, I can sell off one (or two ) And with the price on gas pushing up at an alarming rate, the demand for bikes grows!

Currently riding an SV1000S for the road, sport touring with some track days thrown in and a DRZ400 for the dirt. Love em both at the moment but there's lots of stuff out there I would like to throw a leg over some day.

ce2swanson 03-15-2009 05:40 PM

what to buy next

I have an '02 Road King Classic with over 50K and am looking at a rebuild around 60K. I was looking at the '08 and '09 Rocket III touring but I have questions. Anyone here have a Rocket touring? I looks like it is set up like the Road King in many ways. I want to know about reliability, breakdowns, maintance costs, etc. I pull a camper trailer with the Road King and could use something with more power and reliability.

85 honda shadow for the slower days, 92 Gixxer6 for my hurry up and get of my way days

que_sera_sera1102 04-06-2009 03:09 AM

I like riding bike very much. I think that the Harley is better and more beautiful than the Honda. I wish that I could afford the Harley to ride on streets. But I don't have enough money to buy one because it is too expensive.

urvi88 04-20-2009 02:29 AM

I like many bikes, but mainly i like Harley Davidson.

suprdave 06-06-2011 11:55 AM

Would love to own a nice Harley but my 2001 Intruder LC is fully paid for and runs like new.

I have been a faithful GSXR owner for 20 years. Every bike I have owned was a GSXR, but I would like to have a Road King.

These bikes are made for a variety of off-road motorcycle sports, such as motocross, rallies and track racing. They are light weight with smaller engines and have high ground clearance to protect them from the uneven terrain. They have very little bodywork and no fairing and they have large wheels with very high suspension.

I just sold the Honda, just not loving it like I used to, you know?

I'm thinking about getting a Glide and adding in a mustang motorcycle seat - going to have more time off soon and I've heard that its one comfy seat. Thoughts? Anyone ridden on one?

Well after reading your all opinions all have a good choice but I like sports bikes to ride and I have Honda CBR 250r.
Honda bikes give good performance and these bikes are durable means its engine have more power and rare chances to fail when you are going on height.
Honda Cbr 250r its really amazing bike in every section when we talk about looks, performance and the choice of people than it always come in top 10 sports bike, with unbelievable market rating, it is the best bike in India.

+1 on the Yamaha Warrior. It's the epitome of V-Twin cruisers. It's actually a drag bike in my humble opinion. I smoke HD's all day on this bike. Half-second launches across intersections when the light goes green. Fun stuff.

Longer trips, no doubt, the venerable Goldwing. Love it or hate it, it's been driven around the world on a 36 month trip by a good friend of mine, and it came home intact after about 18 sets of tires. No mechanical problems, and it can cruise at 100+ all day without really breathing.
