Memorial Day

With the onset of the month of May, we all have been enjoying the nice weather, polishing the scoots, getting rid of the winter fat, starting to have cookouts, weddings are getting planned, etc. But for a lot of our fellow Americans, they will never have that PRIVILEDGE. Because they had their lives extinguished sacrificing themselves for what they felt was right and just, so that others may live as we do... Some have not passed away, but are lost in the shadows of evil, pain and suffering... our POW's and MIA's... Those that we still burn a candle for in hopes of them to return to the families and friends that miss them the most, and to welcome them back with open arms... never letting them think that they are not appreciated or respected...

I am putting out an open invitation for each and every one of you that read this to take a moment out of your busy schedule and think about those that came before us and made the ultimate sacrifice for our rights, privileges and freedoms. If you get an opportunity, please try to make a pilgrimage to the war memorial of your choice on Memorial Day... Better yet, make the Rolling Thunder Run... Let your presence be felt by those that matter, the American People.... Because without those Hero's that have chosen to put them selves in harms way, we would not be the people or nation we are today...
