Thai fishermen netted a catfish as big as a grizzly bear, setting a world record for the largest freshwater fish ever found, according to researchers who studied the 646-pound Mekong giant catfish as part of a project to protect large freshwater fish.

 

I'd say a 646lb fish does a fine enough job of protecting itself....

Holy crap that's alot of fryin' he's got to do....

Makes you wonder if the Thai people do the Okie Noodlin' thing. I would have liked to see them wrangle that bad boy out of the water. I say strap a saddle on it and give it hell. Ha!!!

 

i'm thinkin that bad boy needs to be breaded, blackened and thrown on my plate with some collared greens and pinto beans!! :-0

 

Not only your plate, Hell, I think that sucker would feed half of the towns we live in. Don't forget the cold beer to wash it down with.
