Well, I've changed my mind. I had originally planned on getting a Gixxer 600 for my first bike but am switching to a Honda CBR600RR. I hear they are a much better (more comfortable) ride than the gixxers and are easier to handle for less experienced riders such as myself. Im not worried so much about the little drop in performance (if there is any, I know gixxers are quick bikes but haven't compared them) I might be losing, so long as I am happy with the bike. Comfort and control are two very important factors to me, so I also dont mind the little increase in price. ...Ok.. that's all I had to say...you can return to doing what you were now.. like... browsing forums that might actually tell you something important..
