I got to ride a buddies Ducati around Philly over last weekend. I had to run some errands and he's always talking smack on Harleys. Keeps telling me that once I ride a Ducati I'll forget about everything. I've ridden lots of bikes in my short life, so I didn't think I'd be too blown away.
Man I had a blast, of course at first I was a tad nervous since I went from like 35 to 95 with just a short twist of the wrist bud damnit that bike was fun. I also had to give my bud a little heart attack and do a couple wheelies out in front of his house. He didn't appreciate that too much, but he knew I was just having fun.
Anyway, the Monster is a killer bike. It rides real nice, has a great riding position and can really wind up. On top of that, it sounds great and isn't too painful on the pocket. Maybe the next Mongo ride?.........to be continued.........maybe.....

Never ridden one. Not too many of those around here. Sounds like a nice bike though, they are cool looking, and sound mean. I don't care what you buy, you just better have something before the Smokies next spring!
closest thing to a Duc I've had was my TL-1000s. Sort of a Ducati copy. phenominal power, GREAT sound. when i arrived somewhere, everyone was waiting to see what was coming it sounded that great. I've since decided I like my cruiser to be a v-twin, and my sport bike to be an inline 4.
