If ya like good biker music

Then ya gotta go to http://dagomusic.phrasewise.com
This man has some really good music. You can listen to a few of his songs on this website before you buy... just to be sure I aint lying to ya.
He lives the life of a biker, and sings about it with all his soul. You can just feel it, hear it, know it by the music he plays.

His music includes all kinds of genres... Blues, Country, Southern Rock, Blue Grass... everything that makes music real can be heard here in his stuff.

His name is Dago, and he calls his band Criminal History. His vocals are smokey, gritty, soft, or hard, all depending on what the song needs for the emotions he wants ya to experience.

Some of best money I have spent on music in a long time.
Tell him Marilyn from Florida sent ya.
Regards to all,
Chessie and Mistress Marilyn

PHAT-BOY 01-19-2005 11:17 AM

Ok, I'm lost. Are you one person or two? Sometimes there is one sig, other times there is another and on this post there are both.

BeeLo 01-19-2005 11:21 AM

Its her online personalities...

Sometimes she's one, sometimes the other.

chesshirecat 01-19-2005 11:54 AM

Ahhh yes

Thank you Belo... when you see Chessie, that is indeed the real personality of me, Chesshirecat.

When you see the Mistress, that is the fun loving, naughty, and sometimes rude woman who writes the things that make some people laugh, piss others off, causes some to wonder what drug she's on, or what planet she came from. It's all in fun, and no-one is ever to take the poor Mistress for much more than for her entertainment value.
Chessie

PHAT-BOY 01-19-2005 11:58 AM

Clear as Mud. Thanks! :D

DILLIGAF 01-19-2005 12:06 PM

WTF?!!! Lots of love.

chesshirecat 01-19-2005 12:59 PM

Oh dear boy

Dillagaff... "Please, do sit down in my room...yes that's right... mmm right there..."
What is this contraption you ask? "Just relax.. and close your eyes, the Mistress is here to releive you of all your confusion..."

"Sorry folks, the rest is XXX rated, and..." (SLAM) "this party is for two" ( says the muffled rich voice from behind the thick oak door.)

Dillagaff, I promise you will no longer be confused...
Mistress Marilyn

BeeLo 01-19-2005 03:04 PM

I think a Tennessee boy just got reborn.....

DILLIGAF 01-20-2005 12:18 AM

Tennessee “Boy”? How big do they grow the men in Massachusetts? How come I always attract the crazy women? No confusion here. Just watching the show, I think it’s a show..?? Take Care and Be Safe :)

stickman 01-20-2005 02:39 AM

good music

hey,
not sure if i'm on right page, but wanted to comment on good music.
NEIL YOUNG
whether i'm home or bar or truck ,he's what meaningful music was suppose to be.

stickman 01-20-2005 02:43 AM

??????

what the heck does Lurker mean under my name,is it a good or bad thing.
obviosly this is my first time on biker forum.
thanks for any input.

BeeLo 01-20-2005 03:57 AM

Big enough. I thought you down south folks were fond of the term "boy", sorta like the fascination with lifted trucks and tobbacco. ;)

Lurker is someone who doesn't have many posts either because they are new, or they just like to watch instead of contribute. Not an insult in any way.

For instance, I'm betting the Mistress is more of a "contributor" and Chessie is more of a "watcher". :p

Mongo 01-20-2005 04:15 AM

Stickman, you're a Lurker until you have 10 posts...then you're a Biker. Not a big deal really, it just prevents people from signing up and posting in the For Sale forums and spamming the boards. Only 6 more posts to go for you until your outta that Lurker title.

Tom 01-20-2005 04:19 AM

:D Dillagaff, just tell her your shoe size is 12
andyou'll be all set for that therapy session....... :D

chesshirecat 01-20-2005 04:24 AM

Hi Belo...

You hit the nail on the head, so to speak. All good writiers are observers, while their alter egos are the doers.

One thing I will tell you though, most of my printed work comes from experience. The past is like a multi-colored patch-work quilt, embellished with some of the newer textiles we see today, but for the most part, what you read from me in my column or my stories start with a real experience then are embellished a bit with some imagination.

Chessie.

chesshirecat 01-20-2005 04:34 AM

shoe size???

ohhh Tom... really shoe size all goes with the territory of the man... big, small, I love em all... (foot fetish...), of course I also have this thing for boots, Me... oh those thigh high, shiney black, spiked, leather beauties are my choice.... mmm shows off my strong, long, lean, and shapely legs so well....

chesshirecat 01-20-2005 04:36 AM

Your right, Neil Young's music is unmistable. His best album? Well I have to say I'm stuck in the past a bit, but I like... damn, my meomory has failed me again, but the album was named after the song that started out like this, (I can remember the words to the song... all of them,) "I was lying in a burned out basement with the full moon in my eyes.... I was hoping for replacement, when the sun burst through the sky.... All in a dream...."
It was a song of the times, there can be no doubt.

Damn, all this music talk has got me thinkin I need to check the upcomi concerts at the House of Blues.

If any of you guys ever make it to Myrtle Beach for Bike Week, maybe we can hook up for some Drinkin an Jamin. Plenty to do around here... anyone ever been to Suck Bang Blow?

For anyone without a clue... it's a biker bar.

http://www.suckbangblow.com/

chesshirecat 01-20-2005 06:27 AM

Suck, Bang, Blow

Been there twice, both times was with the magical mystery tour sponsored by the Heritage Rally down in Charleston. Both times were memorable. The ride, the bar, the patrons, and us, we all were in the mood for a party, (some more than others!) Anyway it is a "must" on anybodies list of things to do while in Myrtle Beach!

HeavyDuty 01-20-2005 06:35 AM

What was the song that Kenny Wayne Sheppard had on the radio a year or two ago? Good Stuff. Also Johnny Lang has some good stuff. I have always been a fan of blues based rock, and blue grass, rap, hip hop, southern rock, punk, blues..... No Country! LOL

Shoe Size: 11 :)

Let my maids in waiting entertain you while I go prepare the chamber... MMM I love a man in Jump Boots,,, yes, I have a special surprise for you in the jungle room, or perhaps a different setting for you? Just let the Mistress know your desires, I promise you that, and a special kink designed just for you,,,

WooHoo! 01-21-2005 07:36 AM

am I all alone in this forum being the only punk rocker? i'm not old enough to listen to the blues yet. well, i'm old enough, i just don't ACT old enough.

PHAT-BOY 01-21-2005 07:40 AM

Metallica, Saliva, System of a Down, hard rock is what you'll find in my player. Sometimes I'll even go rap style with some 50 Cent, Obie Trice, old skool Public Enemy, Beastie Boys stuff like that. I like to mix it up. Guess that's not too typical "biker" music.

HeavyDuty 01-21-2005 08:16 AM

I listen all kinds of music too (very little country). I always like some punk like The Clash. But mostly it was hard rock like Iron Maiden, Old Ozzy, DIO, KISS and Old Metallica but being Native American I also listen to Pow-Wow music too. There's just something about Indian drums that just gets my feet moving.

Natural 01-21-2005 10:20 AM

I was wondering when classis rock would show up. Seems like you'd love my collection Heavy Duty. I'd love to see another concert like the Styx/REO/Journey concert that came by a couple of years ago. Seems The House of Blues is the only venue close by to here that does the classic rocker shows anymore. Any time I find a decent classic band concert on DVD, I'll snap it up and play it non stop on the plasma till the ol ladys sick of it.

chesshirecat 01-21-2005 01:54 PM

Ahhh clasic rock...

Back in the day it wasn't called "classic," it just was....ROCK!
How bout Bad Company? Or Bloomfield, Cooper and Stills? Better yet: Ultimate Spinach, Butterfield Blues Band, Sammy Hagar, Jethro Tull... oh my god...I need a hit of some Purple Haze... Orange Sunshine would be a blast from the past...oh Black Cat wine would cause me to sit up too, Remember sitting around getting stoned and laughing at the "Dave's not here" routine from Cheech and Chong? Remember that huge Bamboo Roller that came with the album Entitled "Bamboo?" Remember trying to lick enough papers togather to build the one joint that would surpass all joints and would work in that damn roller? Remember when you could buy an oz for 25.00 bucks, ( it was sticks and seeds, but it weighed an ounce.) After it was cleaned we used the whole darn bag to "build" that huge joint! MMMM well it was fun while it lasted. Things just got too crazy, and we had to grow up, get real jobs, make babies then raise em. By the time we got to a point in our lives we could do that again nothing was the same, the lingo had changed, the drugs became designer and too damn dagerous for us who knew better, and hell we just go used to being logical.

MMM "Classic" Rock... it hits the spot don't it? It's like an old and trusted friend coming in for a five min. visit... just long to to say..."Remember when?" Then leave ya with your memories.

HeavyDuty 01-21-2005 02:31 PM

When you call it classic it makes me feel so old. I'm just old enough to know better but young and dumb enough to still do it.
Didn't the "Up in smoke" album come with a paper to fit that roller? I can't remember. I was too stoned back then.

Natural 01-21-2005 02:55 PM

I don't call it classic, just a term used by radio stations now days to clue me into which stations to listen to. Still better than most Country/Rap (CRAP) music I hear nowadays.

Best I remember, I started out with Uriah Heep, Creedence, Iron Butterfly, and Grand Funk. My first concert was in '75... Styx and Sugarloaf. Black Oak Arkansas, Kiss, and the Doobies fell in there shortly afterward. Got nothing against 1%'ers, but in my minds eye, I kinda think Fonda's rendition of a biker is how I envisioned it ought to be... easy, stoned, and enjoying the road. Kinda always thought of myself as a ol hippie ridin a bike. Just because I had to adjust to keep a job don't mean they can break me.

chesshirecat 01-21-2005 02:56 PM

Up in Smoke

By George he does remember some of the '70's...
I knew one album did, but I couldn't remember which one...
LOL that was a blast doing that one too!
Chessie

Natural 01-21-2005 03:01 PM

Shrooms, microdot, and Ti Stick was my poisins of choice... damn I miss the good old days

chesshirecat 01-21-2005 03:02 PM

Uriah Heep

Now wasn't that a great band? How bout the Mother's of Invention? We used to drop a few hits of Orange into some Blackcat wine, light the candles and the fire in the fireplace and let that crazy s**t take us where no man has been before... (at least no-one we knew..) mmm I think I'm having a flashback now LOL
Chessie

Natural 01-21-2005 03:06 PM

Hell yeah! People thought I was crazy as shit for listening to Zappa. Damned nice memories I have of the ol days an all the hell i raised!

chesshirecat 01-21-2005 03:13 PM

Natural

I lived in Germany back in the 70's for a few years any way, it was hash. I never even heard of pot until a few years of smoking the black stuff. Never did shrooms until I got stateside, LOOOng after it was popular. Micro dot? That was hard to get there in Gemany. Ti-stick was popular when I got back to the states, but I was too poor for that stuff, had to wait till I met people who could buy it and was willing to shareOh and iron Butterfly... I remember when I brought one of their albums home, my husband and I were listening to it when his folks stopped by. LOL we had it screaming form the quad speakers, and couldnt hear them at the door! LOl were they pissed!
