Default My ride to Alaska

I'm back from Alaska, about 8000 miles round trip. Tending to some bent parts and warn joints and then I'll work on the bike to get it back in order also. The road to Alaska or the Alaskan Highway is an experance and it takes several days to travel. Sights are wonderful, weather was great on the way up and rainy on the way back. I stopped and took lots of pictures, it seamed that every corner needed a picture taken. I found out you have about 2 to 3 minutes to stop for pictures before the bugs find you. Grim is very gritty and will scrach any glass, chrome or paint and must be pressure washed off prior to wiping anything off. I found lots of very friendlly people and I was impressed with the Canadians friendlly style, "A". (Canadians end some statments with "A" to get a response back for that statement) I had a 40,000 mile service done at Harley Davidson, Fairbanks Fartherst North Outpost and was very impressed with their friendlly and personal service. I will get some pictures posted soon. Also don't let anyone say that you can not ride a soft-tail long distance or anyware.

Nice pictures! Alaska is the ultimate adventure vacation for anyone who loves nature. It's the raw immensity of the landscape. As far west as you can go. Youngest state, oldest place. Feel the immensity of Alaska's interior.
