Default Scenic Roads

Living in Indiana most of the roads are straight and flat. However in the south central part of the state there are hills of exciting curved, up and down pavement that is exciting to ride. I leave Marion, Indiana, I ride road 28 west to road 39 south, destination Brown County State park, in south central part of the state. The road becomes scenic west of Indianapolis, with 90 degree turns, and up and down hill curves through lime stone "cuts" in the hill side, and forest area to Martinsville. Then north on 37 for 3 miles, connecting 252, and 135 to scenic Nashville. Fine resturants, hobby shops, and many other attractions with a rustic flavor is to be enjoyed. Then 4 miles south to the entrance to the park and twisting winding up and down steep s turns is to be had. A one day trip, 320 miles of pure enjoyment. Hope you can make it.

Ah yes, Southcentral Indiana. My old stomping grounds when I was a young pup with a new Honda 750 back in 1970. The really good roads are in Monroe, Brown, Greene and Lawrence Counties. Haven't been to Nashville in about ten years on a trip back east. I was raised in Bloomington, so I lived right in the middle of all those fine riding roads.
