Alright, so the weather is getting better, and I'm still trying to justify why I live in Philly and not in the South. I'm coming up short on answers.....but that's a whole 'nother topic.

The rant of this week involves the north eastern part of the U.S. As weeks go by and more and more events, rallies, and rides start, there has been an increased tension for bikers and enthusiasts. In the wake of what is being called a "Biker War", many people are shying away from otherwise great events, fearing violence, etc.

I have no affiliation with any clubs, and have nothing against members of this or that club. Generally, I have met pretty nice dudes and dudettes from all clubs.

The problem is this...the clubs are having a war....and the rest of the community is stuck in the middle. People are uneasy about attending events where things might happen, and I think the riding season, events, rallies, etc...are going to be greatly affected by this.

It sucks for the people in the biker community, and wish there was an easy way to solve the problems...but I don't think there are. This is going to make for an interesting summer (at least in Philly anyway).
