Default Hey from Richmond VA

hey whats up everyone, i joined this forum in hopes of getting some insight, some advice and look to talk to other bikers. i like to do lots of research before going out and buying a bike and i figure talking to other people about them would be one of the better ways to go. at the moment i do not own a bike but look to purchase within the next year, probably next feb-april time period.

bikes i have looked into so far, are the yamaha yzf-r1 2007. and the honda cbr1000 2007. i am leaning towards the r1 at this point after doing some research. if anyone here owns the bike i would appreciate your thoughts and experiences with it. thanks to all.

David

Default Hello there all!

Just a hello from Dolores, Colorado. I am sort new at the biker thing, about 1 1/2 years riding behind my new husband. I bought us 1996 Yamaha RoyalStar with my divorce settlement form my ex!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had to look around for a bike with a long frame as hubby is 6'4" and I am 5'10". Had to have something that is comfortable for both of us for those long distance trips!!!!!!!!!!!!! After all why trailer when you ride with the wind in hair and the fresh air blowing around you?
Thanks, RoyalStar Babe
