Question regarding motorcycke leathers

I would like to know how bikers choose what style leathers go with their bikes. Is it based purely on preference or club requirements?

It was a pretty easy decision for me, but then I ride a Harley LOL. The biggest consideration for me was how the chaps and jacket fit, and also the cost.

I think I might try to go away from black the next time I am getting new leathers though.

I generally stick to Vanson Leathers and match the colors of the bike.
