Anyone heard anything good or bad about these bikes? We got a new dealer in town selling them, and I may go check one out. Possibly trade the Fatboy in.

Don't know much about the Iron Horse's, but a dealer here close to me is selling "Thunder Mountain" bikes. They have a stock Harley drivetrain (TwinCam 88 or 95 motor & Harley tranny).....very dependable and fine looking also. The warranty work is covered by Harley dealers, and parts will always be readily available. That in it's self would put them at the top of my list if I were in the market for a custom......

Check them out....

Thunder mountain is also stocked at the dealer just outside of Philly - funny how the HD dealers are picking up some customs now.

There's another dealer in Delaware that always has some Bourget bikes on hand, even had a couple OCC bikes last time I was there - they don't sell many, but always have about 5 on hand.

As far as American Ironhorse, I see a lot of the chopper models around but I have seen/been on another model. For the life of me I don't remember what model (it was 2001) - but it was very nice.

Good luck.

The Texas Chopper is a nice looking bike, but I'm more interested in the Tejas. Nice bike, reminds me of the Big Dog Pitbull. Gonna go get a closer look this weekend.

Hey I'll give ya a couple of thousand for that old ugly Fatboy of yours......that way you'll have something for a down payment on a new scooter

By the way, if you get that new scooter you will have to change your name to 'Chopper-Boy".....or "Phat-Tire"....something like that !!!

Yeah, time to rid myself of the pile. LOL! I wish I could have all the bikes I wanted, but I'm not loaded like I wanna be. I think the Fatboy will be around for the duration of the loan, then I'll either build, or buy. I really like the Big Bear chopper Pro Street Venom, as does hot bike in the articles they have been writing about there test bike. Then I get the pleasure of building my own, and creating it my way with my paint. I'll figure something out. Too bad the used market is so damn flooded.
