Default The Look vs. The Sound?

Well witch is it? Before I got hooked on Buell I was a long time owner and XL Sporster lover. I just love the looks and sounds of Hot Rod Harleys. Every time I am at the dealer I look over ALL the bikes. Ya just gota love em. But as much as I enjoy the eye candy I think it's the tell tail sound that gets me most. I do kind of miss that distinctive sound riding the Buell(I have grown to like the quieter tone of my Cyclone) But as I was working in the yard Sunday I kept HEARING the Harleys cruising bye out on the main road, I couldn't stand it any more. I put away the gardining tools, Grabed my lid and off I went. For me it's THE SOUND.

Default Even a 2 year old knows the deal...

My son, at the age of two, started to learn the difference..... Now, he just listens and knows if a V-Twin is coming up the road.... Tell me I am training my son right.....

Devil Hog...isn't it great to get the young ones going early. I love when I pull in and my daughter comes out and her eyes light up when she sees the bike. It's great.

Default rumbling..............

The sound of a Harley is the sweetest sound for me. I hear a bike going by and smile. Riding in a pack is the greatest, hearing the loud rumble. Then I look down at my baby and smile bigger. Being the gal on back all those years and riding my own the past 6, makes me wonder why I never tried it earlier. Although I don't mind being on back once in awhile. I wouldn't give up this lifestyle for anything. Ride on and ride safe.

I've been thinking on this since the post and I'm having a hard time with putting a tag on just either the sound or the looks or even both. I feel my Harley while riding, I hear it, I see it and I think it is all the senses combined. It takes all that to make me say, thats cool. So my few cents worth are, It takes Sound, Touch, Vision, Experiance and possiably Soul to make owning a Harley worth fighting to remain in this world.
