Loose chain - Hyosung GT250R
Guys,
Need a little bit of help here. So, I bought an 07 Hyosung GT250R from a private buyer a couple of weeks ago. Its been making some weird noises in the low gears and at the low revs, so I thought I'd let another rider take a look. He said it was a loose chain. He said I needed to adjust it, doing some googling, says I need to move the bolt by the back axel and tighten the chain following the ticks (not quite used to the bike speak yet), but the problem I have run into is: the chain is already as far down the ticks as possible. Like I can't tighten it anymore.
So, is there anything I can do to fix this? Like whats the cheapest/best/easiest way? What happens if I keep riding with the chain like this? How much would it cost me to just take it too like Peter Stevens and just get them to put a new chain on it?
Regards,
Dan
