Default Aw She's not that fast.

Down hill with a tail wind we can get the clock to touch 125 MPH.
Had her to 120 today on flat ground into a slight head wind. She sure gets to the one ton mark quickly on a nice cool spring day.

Does your bike have the Thunderstorm heads? I had mine up to 115 going down 95 in FLA. :-) Cyclones are not fast sure but, they have what i like which is that awesome lowend torque along with that roll on power and great cornering abilty that makes it a blast to ride.:-) Oh and it does all this while looking really cool.:-)

No that is not my ride. This is my ride the day I got it.

I don't think it will be that clean again as it does not look quite as good anymore.:-) The bike is almost stock except I did the typical rejet, drilled the slider, added the fatter Sportster needle to the carb along with a K&N then I went to the colder plug and that is it so far. I may add a slip on shortly and a new wind screen to block just a bit more wind. Thinking of the GIVI. They look real good and are $120.00. They look factory stock. BTW, I like the red on your ride. If Buell offered Red when i bought mine I would have went with it. Gotta love those Cyclones.:-)

Default mfell You in Fla?

You went 115 on 95 in Fla, you live down there or was that during bike week? I lived in Ft Lauderdale for 15 years. Now I am back home in Ole New England. Love the mountain roads in Vermount and New Hamphsire Much better than those strait flat ones in Fla.

No, I live 25 minutes from the Buell factory in WI:-)I was down there for bike week. You are right no curves in FLA. We had a lot of fun though. Went from Daytona beach to Jacksonville and took the scenic route along the ocean.

Take care

Default ahh to ride in New England once agina

97M2Cyc,

You're lucky to be back up there, the real good riding season is about to really kick off.

Sure Fl's got year round rinding but the hills and corners are few and far between. Great for high speed runs but terrible for what all Buellies are made for.

I only wish I had my Ride when I was near the blue hills just outside of Boston..
