I see where Mr. Janklow got hammered with a horrible sentence. 100 Days in jail, 3 years probation and a 1000 dollar fine. All that was for killing a motorcyclist in South Dakota. Does anybody else besides me think that is a total abuse of judicial discretion when it comes to sentencing? And the response from the Sturgis Rally organizers to emails about it is: "Don't punish the people that go to the rally each and every year by boycotting the Rally". Motorcycle riders always bitch about not getting any respect. They can't even come together on every day issues that concern all of us, much less something as important as being opposed to this verdict. Everybody can do what they want about goin to Sturgis, I AIN'T GOING...................................WORK

Thumbs down Janklow

Unbelievable, what an injustice....I'm disgusted with the judicial system in this country. And people wonder why this country of ours is going down the toilet ??? It's because people are not held accountable for their actions anymore. There are no consequences for disregarding the law, especially if you are rich, famous, or an elected official.

I agree, if bikers boycotted Sturgis this year it would serve notice to the world that the Biker community has power in numbers. If Bikers would unite and stand together in a boycott, it would get big media coverage....and if this chickenshit judge were voted out in the next election, you can bet your *** a judge might think twice before handing out a lame *** sentence like Janklow received.
