Default Suzuki C50 opinions

I have recently been able to "cycle sit" a friends C 50 Boulevard. I'd like some opinions from you all concerning the quality of this bike. It rides good - how will it hold up over time? Will it still be clicking along after 20,000 miles or is it considered a short lived bike?
I am looking for input from folks who know Suzuki bikes and would like to hear from those who have put some serious miles on a Boulevard/Volusia. Anything to look out for?

Hey Philmore, My experience with the C50 Boulevard is a positive one. We have a customer who bought one almost 2 years ago. It gets alot of roadtime. It now sports a honda VTX taillight, custom rear signals, relocated license, custom paint, windshield, and a Cobra exhaust. Bike looks great, all the neighbors think its a Harley. And it hasn't given any trouble yet, good stout machine and looks larger than it really is. Its no race bike, but it keeps up fine on the road trips. Good luck, Jimhttp://www.beyondthepaintinc.com/ima...Beaver_002.jpg

That's a nice bike! I can tell you from first hand experience that if you want a big cruiser bike and are comparing say the VTX and Boulevard - the Boulevard doesn't seem as bulky on the road. Don't get me wrong, they both have more than enough power but the Boulevard seems more nimble.

I've got a 96 Intruder, The bike rides like new. I have done only tune ups on it. Nothing major the bike is a dream to drive.
