Cool Welcome Buell Riders !!!

Welcome all Buell owners , This forum is intended for you , to share your knowledge , views , questions , or answers about your beloved Buell. I'm FatBoyRider , I will serve as one of the Moderators for this forum , and you guessed it , I ride a Harley FatBoy (first cousin to your Buell). Everytime I'm at a H-D / Buell dealer I sit on the Buells and ooh & ahh over them. I already have plans for a second bike someday and a Buell is at the top of my list. So , I hope to learn more about them through this forum & I'm looking forward to all you Buell owners to share all you know about them.

Please join in and help this forum grow , thanks.

Ride SAFE

Default buell

Hey Fatboy, I just sold my Buell so I may not be allowed in this forum .I had a 98 m2 and it was a blast to ride although I am what you might call a old geezer I had a lot of fun on the bike at least when I could keep the pipes from falling off. This seemed to be the main trouble with the bike other then that nothing else ever went wrong and the youngster I sold it to is having a ball with the thing. The new 9r or what ever its called looks like it will be a killer ride.I think instead of one of those I may get me a con cours for the twistys and keep my bagger for long rides.

Hey Fat Boy I think I was the only Buell enthusiast over at Sport bike world, thats wher I came from. I dont think the riders accept Buell as a sport bike as all they do is knock and flame the bikes. You might want to advertise at these sites :Cycle World .com seems to have some Buellers there but there is a lot of flaming wars there also. American Thunderbike , Bad Weather Bikers, SacBORG are good Buell sites try geting some of them to stop by . I hope this fourm takes off.

Hey guys, I just wanted to say 'hi.' I am new to this forum but it looks like this forum isn't very old. Anyway, I am the proud owner of a 03 Buell Firebolt. I love it, handles like a dream, and it makes a whole lot of torque. Anyway, if any of you guys are in the Maryland area, let me know, maybe we could ride sometime, if the weather out here ever clears up.

Default Welcome...

Welcome !!
MBR2003 , welcome to "BikerForums", yes those Buell's are fine bikes for sure. I bet they are a total blast in the "twisties"....I love the twisties, but my floorboards aren't too fond of them....scrape,scrape !!! Oh well, I guess the FatBoy wasn't designed for twisties
So, just make yourself at home here, and if you have any riding bud's....turn them on to this site.

later

Not a popular thread

Well I recived a kick in the pants this holiday from the wife
sent me out to get a bike to ride and ride only.

Last year she gave me a 2000 Sporty and I tore it down. Gave it a S&S 98" kit. Now it is waiting for a 16x240 tire and a 2" over swingarm.

So Im grumpy, did not ride all last seasion. She said I need a fix.
Told me to fine a rider and to not change a thing until the Sporty is up and running.

Enter, a 2000 M2 Buell

Oh, and I did chang it. Changed to a Baker 530 chain drive conversion and a 200mm rear tire and a Supertrapp exaust system and Force air cleaner. But it still together.

Post It's been a while...

Man, it's been a long time since I started this thread (almost 2 yrs.)....I even went over to a sport riders forum that had a bunch of Buell riders to try and drum up some interest for BikerForums, and they promptly ran my *** off. They don't care to much for Harley riders....so....**** em
I tried, and I never could convince them that I could care less what someone rides...anyway, I'm getting side tracked here

Jon, I bet that Buell will haul ***, especially since you opened up the intake & exhaust....how do you like it so far ???
