Default What Are Hub Motors?
Hub motors typically run on electricity from rechargeable batteries. On a bicycle, the battery pack is usually located near the rear wheel.

You see these on military bikes. Yes, they really make them. They are now commonly sold at bike stores too. They are fast!

The wheel hub motor another name called wheel motor, wheel hub drive, hub motor or in-wheel motor is an electric motor that is incorporated into the hub of a wheel and drives it directly.
