The run is christies kids, and it supports battered women and children. It helps with a place to stay for a while clothes and such. The items they need are clothing for kids and for others, baby bottles,formula,teddy bears, stuffed animals,diapers,high chairs,cribs,etc.

This is Ellis county's only shelter for battered women and domestic violence.

The run starts March 30 at the Ihop in Waxahachie at 10:30 and runs to the V.F.W in Ennis
