Default ...and the changes continue

Hey everybody, I'm still getting some new things set up but I didn't want you to miss out on anything that I've just gotten going this week.

New Features:

The Garage
Performance Tips
Product Reviews
2005 Rally Information

The Garage is pretty nice - you can load pics of your rides and give some info about them. Other members can then comment on it. Eventually, when we get some people's rides in there, we'll feature one a month on the front page. To add information to "Your Garage" click on the "User CP" link on the top Navigation bar. After that, on the left hand side, click on the "Your Garage" link and add or edit your information. Pretty easy and a nice little feature.

Performance Tips will be something that will have and article added to it weekly, starting next week. Tips will cover all types of bikes. Hopefully, this will turn into a good how-to forum.

Product Reviews will be moderated articles submitted by members. This will cover everything motorcycle related.

2005 Rally Info is pretty self explanatory, we're organizing a rally.....that forum is all about it.

Also added to the site are some advertisements. I know they can be annoying, but the fact is that's how we intend to pay the bills around here at BikerForums. Please patronize these sponsors to help us. In the future, we will also be opening an online store. Stay tuned for original t-shirts, apparel and gifts.

Hope everybody likes the changes....they'll continue to keep coming.

I'll see if I can get a dark low-contrast colorscheme. I think it imports real easy. That's one of the things that bugs me about vb3. Every board that upgraded now uses the same colorscheme

Good stuff though, I like the Garage idea

Yeah, the colorscheme is a real pain in the ***. This default blue crap is driving me nuts and it ain't too fun to change. Especially, with how hacks are installed sometimes. I'm basically done with my new features, was gonna take a crack at the colors sometime this weekend.

Any help you give is appreciated. Thanks, take care.

check your mailbox, i sent you a scheme that would work real nice on here. Havent been exposed to vb3 too much but I think you can easily import this, with minimal effort

Got them, I have to modify them for vB3 though, haven't gotten to it yet. Hopefully by the end of this week.

Also, I can't find the files you asked for - I think they were on a system that was wiped out for a firewall now. If I find anything, I'll let you know. Might have to poke around the old server the site used to be on also.

tam, you're right, it did actually import correctly but I still have to do some tweaking for a couple of things b/c of vBadvanced.

I've been horizontal since Sunday with some bad kidney stones....once I get some strength I'll get to it.
