Default PHATboy for sale

I'm looking to sell the Phatboy kids. Here's the skinny on her:

Titled as a 2002 special construction Harley Davidson. All HD parts on a custom raked softail frame. Built by Wilwerts HD in Dubuque IA, an authorized replica builder / dealer. Was originally financed by Harley, so they do authroize the build. Mongo can vouch for the bike, he's seen her.

Here's some detail:
Matched HD paint set Candy green ghost flame over black
HD Thunderstar Mirrorchrome wheels, pulley
Chrome front end
Chrome swingarm
Samson Exhaust
braided brake, clutch and throttle lines
wild 1 chubby drag bars
Detachable windshield
Stock and HD Badlander seats
Battery Tender
Detachable Sissy Bar
Lowered 1.5" in front and 2" rear
Screamin eagle filter
recently dyno'd by the HD shop

Too many other changes to list. Show quality bike, trust me this is one special machine. I'll get some pics tonight and post for all to view. If you know someone looking, let me know. I have an appraisel from a local HD shop putting the bikes value at $24k, I have about $26k invested. No way you could do all this to a stock Fatboy for under $30k. Will sell and deliver within a negotiable range for $21,500. E-Mail me if interested, jhintz@southslope.net, or if you know someone looking.

Thanks Kids!

Pic as promised, had to resize it quite a bit, so it's not the best quality, I can send more if you need via e-mail. There is another pic in the garage under my name with the old bars and air cleaner, little bit nicer pic.

I have a friend that runs a Harley Shop and he will finance through Harley Finance anyone interested. As long as you have good credit and 10% down we can take care of the rest.

Anyone ever sold a bike on Ebay? If so, how was the experience?

Smile Phat-Boy

Hold on a few seconds.... ah that's better, (Had to remove my shades,) she sure is a shiney beast... purty too. {{{{murrrrrrr}}}} (long, soft. low, and satistied kitty purrrrr.) This kitty would sure like to rub her head and whiskers all over that bike. (Did you know when a cat does that she is marking her territory?) Yes Phat-Boy...she's a damn fine ride. She will make any rider proud.

Thanks for the kudos. I have many many hours of blood sweat and now some tears into my girl, but it's time to retire the beast and start again. Trying to get into something more custom next time. Who knows what it will be. Looking at Big Bear Chopper kits right now. They make an awesome kit. I'm hoping to get some bites off of CycleTrader over the next month. Please spread the word if you know anyone looking, I'll send a commission to anyone that helps me sell her.

And yes, I did know cats mark their territory in that manner, it's from the secretions on the sides of their mouths.

Bikerforums, fun AND informative!!!

Question Advice

I have the bike listed on 2 online sites and on a Kansas city online forum. I have gotten one lead so far, and he was a tire kicker. Any thoughts from anyone in the gallery? I lowered the price to $19k. I don't think I am asking too much, anyone care to comment?

At 19k I certainly don't think you're asking too much. Especially with all you've put into it. How many miles on her? Spring is getting close, and I'll bet you'll get a lot more bites as the weather improves. People start to get the itch when the weather is nice and they see everyone getting their bikes out of hibernation. My feeling is she'll go pretty quick come spring.

Bike is going to run starting Sunday in the Kansas City Star. Hopefully a larger market like that will drum up some leads. Nothing to report at this time. Spread the news!!
