My hat's off to Philly. They played their hearts out. The Pats played horribly most of the game, but just squeaked it out, per their usual.

Good game all around.

It was a good game, fun to watch. The commercials sucked!

I think both teams played horrible...so at least they were evenly matched. Good game...except of course for my team losing.

we're watching some of the commercials on ifilm.com right now. Come on PHAT-BOY, the Nikki Cambell commercial (GoDaddy.com) was awesome!!!

I think the best comercial hands down was the one of the soldiers walking through the airport and everyone was claping.
The godaddy. com was a more pleasing to the eye though

If you go to Godaddy.com you will see the commercial that didn't make it. http://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/superbowl05/landing.asp My boss's husband works at GoDaddy in the creative department, and I have 3 other friends that work there. I knew it was going to be T&A, Bob Parsons wouldn't have it any other way. Basically it was the only one that was. Check this out from the Bob Parsons Diary. Fox screwed them:

As you may have noticed our Super Bowl ad only appeared during the scheduled first quarter spot. It was scheduled to run also in the second ad position during the final two minute warning. Our ad never ran a second time. Instead, in its place, we saw an advertisement promoting "The Simpsons."

The NFL persuaded FOX to pull our ad.
We immediately contacted Fox to find out what happened. Here's what we were told: After our first ad was aired, the NFL became upset and they, together with Fox, decided to pull the ad from running a second time. Because we purchased two spots, we were also entitled to a "Brought to you by GoDaddy.com" 5 second marquis spot. They also chose to pull the marquis spot.

Our ad is finishing high in opinion polls.
So far in early opinion polls, our ad seems to be finishing fairly high. In fact, in checking the one on the Fox site, it is in the number two position. Not bad for an ad that could only be aired once.

Stay tuned for more news as it develops.
I'm sure you'll be hearing more about this over the next few days. I believe that it's the first time ever a decision was made to pull an ad after it had already been run once during the same broadcast.

Angry I liked that!

I really liked the uncencored version...LOL I did see the first half one on the tube... I also saw a portion of it on a show they did the night before... something about the best commercials????
That damn Jackson fallout is even affecting commercials? The stupid b^*$h screwed everything up for everybody... damn that woman and her floppy assed right booby anyway.

Hey don't complain about your teams. I have to deal with the Damn Lions every year.

I go through less emotions watching my 10yr old son wrestling.

Barry Sanders was my favorite running back after Walter Payton. It was a treat to watch Barry do his thing every year. Simply amazing.

Unhappy Bummer!

Holy ****! You're kidding me. I didn't even hear about it. Man, that sucks big time. Hopefully it wasn't too severe and he make a full recovery. He's one of the best defensive players in football, and not a show-off or a pompous a-hole like some others.

He's talking and walking, so that's good news.

They might even release him today. Word is he had a minor stroke. I hope he walks away from the game and spends time with his family. His boys are too young to be without a father.

Tell me about it. I saw the video of him playing with his kids on the field at the Pro Bowl, that was awesome. He's a good linebacker, but there is more to life than football.
