Default Biker Calendar--very Disappointed

Recieved two calendars I ordered from CafePress. I must say all the pics were entirely too large, to the point most of them are blurry and can even see the pixels in the pics. For 16.98 a calendar, the quality of the pics are not worth the price paid.
I am terribly disappointed, I ordered two, and MONGO, you were to sent me one FREE, which I have not recieved yet........I do not feel it is just me about the calendars, you have to see this for yourself, pics are grainy, not clear. Sorry to complain, but the price for the calendar is much more than I would have ever paid for one, but this one was special, it being a member biker's calendar.

Thanks

I have one of the calendars and I like it. The problem doesn't lie with the printing of the calendar though, it's just the quality of the pictures sent to me - which I have NO control over. They had to be sized to the calendar pages, no control over that. I attempted to clean them up the best I could, but honestly...some people don't have good camera's or scanners. It wasn't meant to be a professional publishing effort, merely a way to have a BikerForums Calendar and sell them to support the site, I'm sorry if you thought different. We get a very small percentage of the selling price, since in reality we do nothing except provide the pics that are to be used. Like I said, I couldn't agree more about the quality, but the pics make the production....and the subject of the pictures were good....but some of the pics were of bad quality.

In response to your free calendar, I haven't sent it yet. Since I was in the process of moving the site to new servers when I received most of the late calendar requests...the email was not transferred over. I have the emails, I just haven't had time to send them out. When the calendar contest ended, people were sent out calendars when they emailed me. Unfortunately, you didn't respond until a little later (when I was in the middle of changing servers). On top of that, I run this site as a free place to enjoy other motorcyclists and our passion. This is not my full time job and sometimes things that have to be done at BikerForums get pushed to the bottom of the pile when I have other work/family/volunteer committments.

I also have one of the calendars, and I think it's fine. Actually, better than I thought it would turn out. It's not intended to be a Terry Redlin calendar, it's just real photos from real riders. All of the photos were posted for anyone and everyone to vote on to be in the calendar. It's a calendar created by the site and our members that Mongo did all the legwork on. A fun project. You need high quality photos to make a high quality calendar. When you take a photo, and resize it to a larger image size, the grain is going to be more predominant. It's inevitable. I'm not trying to mix the pot, and I hope this ends on a good note, and some resolution can be found. Just my .02

Thumbs up CALENDARS-------THANKS GUYS

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the notes, I just did not expect what I got, and of course I will keep and use the calendars, and glad to contribute to the site efforts, and thanks to you very much for all your hard work, did not mean to "slam" anyone, was just disappointed in most of the pics.

Appreciate your feedback, sooooo onward we go,

Have a good week
