Fall is here
Anyone have any nice fall rides planned to watch the leaves change? We have a group riding to Galena IL to check out the leaves. Nice ride along the mighty Mississippi, overnighter. Good reason to go get my new leather jacket!

yes sir, weekend of Oct. 16th, riding up to VT, we have a cabin up there we rent spring and fall. Last year we got snowed on on the way home. Brrrrr. This Saturday doing a ride through upstate NY via the Berkshires in CT and MA.

I'm going to try to get out as much as possible this weekend as well. Of course, I can watch the leaves change in my back yard.
I rode my bike to work (120 miles round trip) Tuesday. It was about 50 degrees out when I left and with the half helmet, a little chilly! But, this is a great time of year to be riding. I may take the bike to work next week too!

My fall ride is from SF Bay Area to Yosemite over the 120 Tioga pass (10,000 feet) to 395 and then a leasure ride down 395 and cross the desert to Phoenix second week in October. Not much fall colors in california but a fun ride if we can get over the pass before the snows close the pass.
