By they way...are you thing about getting a FatBoy ?? I've been happy with mine, if I could do it over though I would have a big ol tourer....ride from coast to coast on one of those, and not get tired. But for around town fun, the Fatboy is the way to go...just my worthless .02

I understand that the fact that you may would like an ol tourer, and although i like the wide glides and electra glides, the fatboy is fine. I maybe thinking about getting that particular one, especially if it has the amount of cubic inches you stated. of course if i got it I would have to stroke it.
The doctor did state that my leg might not ever be strong enough to hold a bike up, but thats beside the point, i was also told it would take 2 years for me to walk and i started walking in 10 months with a cane, now im walking with out one, soooooo...
The possibilites are endless.
Just to make sure i remembered correctly, how many cubic inches did you say it had again????? it might NOT need to be stroked.
Let me know.

Mine is just the stock 88 c.i. , it won't win any races for sure, but it will get there eventually....kind of like the "hare and the tortoise".....lol

But, I would imagine it would really go if it were stroked. I'm just gonna run it like it is for now, cause it is very dependable. If it ever craps out on me then I'll probably put a 95 c.i. kit in it....probably far as I would go, I would rather have a dependable ride especially if I'm far from home....

I bet it would.
I doubt it will crap out on you, im sure you have quiet a few miles on it, but taking crap now shouldnt be a problem.
I dunno, maybe a little test drive, i will have to think about it ;-)
But Id still have to stroke it, you wouldnt care would ya?

If you get a Fatboy and you want to stroke it that's your call....I sure as hell wouldn't race you if you do...

I don't feel the need for speed any more, getting too old I guess...lol

Now a days I would rather just take a long slow cruise than race, and the more you push them, the earlier, and easier it will be for them to "crap" out as you say...of course you have a shop, and can get parts at a discount if you blow it up....lol

Good luck with whatever you decide....
