Me too!
I had to work on the scoot yesterday... havent ridden for about 3 weeks on the sporty cuz of an oil leak that was pissin me off.
So yesterday, i pulled the backing plate off the air cleaner, and inspected the breather tubes for the crankcase... and guess what? It was full of ****. I had to take a solvent to the female threads on the crankcase... some *** before me used a soft gasket sealer on the male threads of the breather bolts... and when I pulled the bolts out... it left **** on the female threads that would have pushed back into the crankcase... now what the hell was he thinking?
Any way I used a pick to get the garbage out and a q-tip soaked in solvent to get the **** out, I soaked the bolts in kero... I took the carb off and soaked that too... I replaced the OEM air filter with a K&N filter... I changed the oil and filter... and put her back togather... rode her hard and fast down I-95 to get the back pressure built up... and see if I got anymore puking... got her home pulled off the cover,,,, and by Jesus she was dry as a newly diapered baby... sweet like one too. So I took a 6 hour vitory ride... she's still dry...and I don't know if I was imagining it, but I swear I had a power boost in the responce of the engine.... OH happy days are here again!
