Question This Happend other day ,,,,

Ok, when I was coming home from my outta town trip
In the car,
I caught up to some Bikes in a group , 6 to be extact,
Now they were driving under the speed limit. 5 to sometimes 10 mph under
( no biggy they were just out for a cruise sight seeing the country side)
BUT!!!
They were driving at a close distance to each other so no cars could pass.
Had to follow them for about 30 miles.....
until they went in a different direction,,,,,,

I felt this to be a little rude on their part.

This ever happen to anyone???

Now I haven't ridden in a group , so am not sure of any rules for riding to gether,
But leaving room for others to pass should be in their someplace...........
or at least drive the speed limit,,,,,,,,,,

Your ideas on this,,,,,,,,,,

My move would be to blast the air horn and start to pass anyway.....even if it's just grass.

No in all serousness. There is etiquette to be followed and they simply weren't doing it. If you lived in a state with a passing lane law, the vehicle (any kind) would also be subject to a fine.

Personally, I would have followed at a safe distance then when able to pass - given a very distinct hand gesture.

maybe a flash of the high beams to gesture you want to get by. Most likely if they were blocking the road that much, they probably wouldn't have heeded to your flashing lights either. Some people. That's annoying as hell. You had the patience of a saint to tolerate that for 30 miles.
