Default Knee Surgery

If your Dr ever advises you to have a scope done with what's called a lateral release be prepared to enjoy! Man this sucks. Anyone else had this done?

Nope! Good Luck though. Hope it doesn't mess up your riding time too much.

Well I made it through last week and this week is much better. Had a good weekend, even mowed the lawn a bit. It's like someone flipped a switch and made it all better. Physical therapy is going well and this Friday I find out when I can get back to riding the 4 wheeler and golfing.

I wish you a speedy recovery. Don’t do too much too soon. It would suck to go through the surgery again just to fix something you messed up because you did not let yourself heal completely. Take Care and Ride Safe!

knee surgery chews. hope it keeps getting better. almost 7 years since arthroscopic (sp?) and still sometimes my knee feels cold, can't kneel on it either which is probably why my boss doesn't give me good raises anymore. D'OH!

LOL! Good one!

I'm doing everything the physical therapist tells me to do. I want to be sure I'm better than I was before. I've heard a lot about folks that have this done then suffer afterwards and feel it was a waste. Don't wanna be that guy. So far so good once the pain went away. Hard to believe exercises that were easy before are so hard to do now. Really have to re-train the quad muscles!

Hey Tom,
The wife wishes she were you, it has been over 6 weeks, and she is waiting to go see her surgeon again, and she is taking a ball peen hammer, she says he is gonna find out what pain is all about. LOL
She is doing PT for an hour a day, and an hour in the pool. I would like to have a few words with the doc over the fact that we get about two hours sleep at a time.
